Winery Tours & Tasting, Where to Start?
There are too many wineries to see in one trip. Research the wineries on the internet, pick out the wineries that are most appealing to you. Two to three wineries a day is a practicable limit. Most wineries are open 10am to 4:30pm or 5pm. Some of the wineries may have extended hours during the summer. A few newer wineries may have free tastings and tours. Tasting fees are approximately $10 to $20.
Wine tours usually include wine tasting fees as well. If you're on a weekend trip rent a limousine for the day and have a safe blast with no worries about driving. Have Fun!  See Tours & Sightseeing for guided tours.

Food and Wine:
Food and wine pairing has been popular for quite some time and still is. The one thing better than having great food and great wine is to have both together. The pairing of food and wine brings out the best of both amplifying your tasting buds. Créme de la créme, (roughly, the best of the best).

Fine dining restaurants will always have wines and foods that will compliment each other, just ask your waiter/waitress for suggestions. The waiters should be quite knowledgeable about their menus and origins. Many fine dining restaurants will have a 'gastronomique' or a facsimile, which is a multi-course menu of the finest foods available paired with the best wines. They will have prices to fit your budget. Pairing is a great dining experience. Don't miss out!
